A rescue is a wonderful way to acquire a dog that you may not be able to afford from a breeder or if you are simply just looking for an older dog breed. I was able to find two rescues but they don’t specifically state that they have German Rottweilers.
The first rescue is basically a directory that helps other rescues around the United States. It has an interactive map that you can click on the state you live in to see if there are any Rottweilers in need of a new home.
This rescue not only will show you the purebred breed but also mixes. Sometimes you can find a puppy, adult Rottweilers, or even seniors.
The second rescue I will link is called the Southern States Rescued Rottweilers. Their goal is to protect, rehabilitate, and rehome Rottweilers in need. They work in the southern part of the United States.
