The breeder that runs Skyway Silken Windhounds has always been interested and worked with dogs. She has had various breeds that she has worked with but was shown the Silken Windhound in 2012 when she was with her German Shepherd at a lure coursing competition.
She knew she needed to have a Silken after seeing it and was able to get one from the litter she had seen. By the time the year was up, she already had three Silken Windhounds. The goal with her breeding is to produce high-quality and well-rounded Silken Windhounds that can be perfect companions as well as having a sporting ability.

The next breeder that I have to recommend to you is the one at Amethyst Silken Windhounds. This breeder is located in Olympia, Washington. This is a smaller hobby breeder that will have litters occasionally. This breeder is also a member of the ISWS, just like the previous breeder.
This breeder is known for her photography business but still likes to breed her dogs from time to time. All puppies will be ISWS and UKC registered. Puppies will be microchipped and have their first vaccinations before going home to their new owner.
This breeder does have an upcoming litter but make sure you message the breeder to make sure that is still up-to-date information. If you want your dog shipped to you, that will not happen from this breeder, and she likes to sell her dogs as locally as possible.

All of the dogs undergo health testing to make sure they are in perfect health to have litters of puppies. These dogs get tested for their eyes, thyroid, and their heart. When a litter of puppies is born, they will also get MDR1, and CEA tested.
